Actress Veena Malik has blamed her ex-boyfriend Prashant Singh for hacking her Twitter account and posting anti-India tweets. On Saturday, the Pakistani model and actress was trending on the micro-blogging site for a tweet, which read, '@iVeenaMalik: India sucks.....!!!' (sic). When we contacted Veena, who is currently in Dubai, she said, "My Twitter account was hacked in December, last year, by my digital manager from India, Prashant, who is part of a Mumbai-based web service company. I had a three-year contract with his company but after two years I chose to discontinue the association. The company continued to keep a track of my account, but after I got married Prashant started blackmailing me. He started demanding money and said that he would not give me my account details otherwise.sss"

However, Veena did not take any legal action against him, since she was no longer in India after getting married to Asad Bashir Khan, a Dubai-based businessman. "I was not travelling to India at that time, since I was busy with the wedding functions. But, now this has been blown out of proportion. This morning, I woke up and saw this tweet. Though my husband is very supportive, it is embarrassing to trend for such a reason," she added. Incidentally, Prashant has also tweeted, '@iPrashantSingh: I can make ppl trend.......(sic).' Despite repeated attempts, Prashant could not be reached till the time of going to press.
