ROSWELL, GEORGIA — Two high school students were found dead behind a Georgia grocery store, in what authorities are describing as a double homicide.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that around 6 a.m. on Monday, a delivery man drove into the backlot of a Publix grocery store in Roswell, Georgia, where he spotted two dead bodies and immediately called police.

According to Fox 5, the initial police reports state that the bodies were found on the ground near some vehicles. They were later identified as 17-year-olds Carter Davis and Natalie Henderson. Both were local high school students, but attended different schools. Davis went to River Ridge High School in Woodstock, while Henderson was an incoming senior at Roswell High.

Authorities believe the teens arrived in separate vehicles between 2 and 3 a.m. on Monday. Both died as a result of head trauma, which autopsies later revealed as gunshot wounds to the head.

Police are still investigating the incident and have yet to identify a suspect.
