Iconic comic book character Wonder Woman was celebrated during San Diego Comic-Con as the lasso-wielding Amazonian turned 75 years old.

An exhibition of her outfits from the classic television show as well as costumes from the upcoming Warner Bros film were displayed alongside a mock-up of her invisible jet.

The character first appeared in the 8th edition of All Star Comics in December 1941 and was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston.
