Kabul residents mourn the victims of Islamic State claimed attack a day after 80 people were killed in twin explosions targeting a demonstration.


"I was in the area when two big explosions occurred, then a few minutes later Afghan forces shot dead the third suicide bomber who was also in the area and wanted to explode himself. This is all misery and government is careless about its citizens."

"We ask the government to ensure security for all the people in the country so our people can continue their normal lives and come out of this misery and poverty."

"When the blast happened I got injured by shrapnel on my shoulder. I saw many people on the ground some had lost a hand, some had lost a leg and some people were cut into two pieces on the ground."
