Authorities in Connecticut have arrested two suspects in a Prospect arson that was committed in September 2015.

Authorities in Connecticut have arrested two suspects in a Prospect arson that was committed in September 2015, reports WTNH.
The key to cracking the case was a DNA-bearing potato found in the tailpipe of a vehicle at the site of the fire.
Matthew Garguilo, age 28, was arrested last week in connection with the arson.
On Tuesday, his 19-year-old girlfriend, Willow Martin, was extradited from New Jersey, where she is serving a sentence for an unrelated crime.
After his arrest, Garguilo told authorities that igniting the blaze, which destroyed two businesses, was Martin’s doing, notes Hartford Courant.
He also said the fire was set out of anger towards the stepdaughter of one of the businesses’ owners, who didn’t pay back a loan extended by Martin.
Martin is now facing a long list of charges, including second-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief.
