An amazing video has emerged of a street vendor making a toffee mouse in Beijing, China.

The footage, shot on Thursday by an Australian tourist, shows the vendor pulling a small lump of toffee from his batch and modelling it into a hollow drop.

He then asks a spectator to blow in the thin end of the toffee bubble while he pulls it in places to shape the ears, nose and paws of the mouse.

After a few blows the inflated toffee mouse is put on a stick and given to the spectator.
