Madonna recently paid tribute to David Bowie by performing one of his songs at her Houston gig. The Like a Prayer singer was so overwhelmed by her emotions when singing one of his songs, she collapsed on-stage as soon as the song finished. Madonna Tweeted soon after Bowie’s death was announced that one of the first live music gigs she had attended was his and it changed her life. She Tweeted a photo of them and later took to Facebook, posting “I’m devastated. David Bowie changed the course of my life forever…I found him so inspiring and innovative.” Indeed, great artists do inspire!
