With their track 'Love Bites...(So Do I)' American hard rock band Halestorm became the first female-fronted band in Grammy history to win the award in the Rock/Metal Performance Category. While female rockers are still very much outnumbered in the genre, to Lzzy herself, and her female colleagues like Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless), the fact that they happen to be women is simply not an issue. “You're judging yourself against yourself. You ask yourself, did I do a good job for me? If Anyone is looking at us differently we don't really notice anymore.”
