The New York Knicks have emerged as the strong favorite to sign free-agent big man Joakim Noah, according to league sources.
Noah has been one of the NBA's better defending big men, with the ability to guard perimeter players in screen switches.
In 2013-14, Noah won the Defensive Player of the Year award while averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
