I always find it interesting how Top Gear managed to succeed with essentially a split audience where 2 groups of people watched 2 different parts of it while not really enjoying the other part.
Most other shows doing something like this would be off the air in a matter of weeks!

In some video games, casting a firebolt spell may cost 5 mana, and creating a simulation may cost 90 mana.

The value of mana is based on arbitrary ground rules. For all we know it takes more phlogiston to build a simulator in the upper world than the amount of Ether (maybe 1757 ?) it would take to build a simulator in the upper upper world.
