A beautiful video has emerged of a small plane landing at Barra Airport in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, UK.

The footage shows the Twin Otter plane landing on a beach.

The filmer wrote online: "It is the only airport in the world with scheduled flights landing and taking off from a beach runway, and can only operate when the tide is out".

"Pilots need special training to be able to operate from here".
