The MP for Batley and Spen in West Yorkshire died after being attacked in the street in her constituency in northern England last week.
The attack shocked the country and has led to an outpouring of sympathy around the globe for the committed humanitarian campaigner.
Jo Cox’s husband Brendan addressed those gathered in Trafalgar Square.
“Since Thursday, Cullin, Lejla and I have spoken every day about the things we will miss, the memories we will cherish.”
“We try to remember not how cruelly she’s been taken from us, but how unbelievably lucky we were to have her in our lives for so long.”

“Jo’s life is a proof that the message of peace is more powerful than any weapon of war. Once again, the extremists have failed.”
The Syrian Civil Defence corps (“White Helmets”) sent a video tribute
“Jo Cox was a true spokesperson of world peace”.
