Ingredients:
For Pasta In White Sauce
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour / Maida
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
1 Cup Milk
1 tbsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 Yellow Bell Pepper, chopped lengthwise
1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped lengthwise
1 Cup Penne Pasta
2 Cups Water
1 bbsp Cheddar Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Basil Leaves
Cherry Tomatoes
Salt to taste
For Garlic Bread
Garlic Flavored Bread Loaf
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp Oregano
Method:
To Make Pasta
- First boil the pasta in water for about 10 minutes. After the pasta is cooked strain it. Pour some cold water on the pasta. Add little oil and mix well. Keep the pasta aside in a bowl.
- For white sauce in a pan heat some butter.
- Once the butter melts add all purpose flour. Mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.
- Add chopped garlic and mix well.
- Add milk and give a good stir.
- Once the mixture is thick add cheddar cheese and mix well.
- Then add oregano, black pepper & salt. Mix everything well.
- Add both the bell peppers and basil leaves. Mix well.
- Add pasta. Mix well. Let everything cook for 2 minutes.
- Pasta in white sauce is ready.
- Garnish it with cherry tomatoes and basic leaves. Sprinkle come Parmesan cheese and the pasta is ready to serve.
To Make Garlic Bread
- Cut the bread in even size pieces and keep them aside.
- In a small bowl add butter, chopped garlic & oregano. Mix everything well.
- Apply this mixture only on one side of each bread piece.
- Heat a flat bottom pan.
- Put the bread pieces with the butter side down first. Roast them well on each side.
- Garlic bread is ready to serve.
