Mike Harrell learned early on that in order for a company to serve its community, it needed to look like its community. While UPS had already earned accolades with its reputation for gender equality, many knew that more could still be done. Here, Harrell shows just how a company can act to develop and support a future for its female employees.
Mike Harrell is General Manager at UPS France, where he is responsible for operations, strategy, and business development for all UPS small package services in France. Mike has spent 25 of his 27 year logistics career based in the EMEA Region working in some 10 countries, first for Fritz Companies, Inc., then joining UPS through acquisition in 2001.
Throughout most of his career Mike has worked as a General Manager, usually with newly acquired companies integrating them into the new parent company.
