Video released by NASA last week combines images taken of Pluto by the New Horizons space probe into a single view of the celestial body's surface. The resulting mosaic uses the "highest-resolution" photographs taken by the probe during its flyby of the so-called dwarf planet in July.
The terrain visible in the mosaic varies from blocky mountains and craters to ice plains of frozen nitrogen.
New Horizons was the first interplanetary space probe to visit Pluto and its five moons.
