Dr. Moeed Pirzada gave his editorial view on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's current foreign tour, which seems that he want to conquer the world strategically. In his five nations tour he is visiting Afghanistan, Qatar, Switzerland, USA and Mexico. Among two of his strategic objects; one is that India wants to gain the international support for inclusion in Nuclear Supplier Group and the second is that India wants to isolate Pakistan strategically.

His visit to Switzerland, USA and Mexico are very significant and purposeful to build his support Nuclear Supplier Group. As he will be addressing the joint session of US Congress, he would be trying to signal that US Presidency and Obama Administration are willing to include India into Nuclear Supplier Group, whose close door meeting will held in Vienna on 9th-10th June. But China has objected on the special treatment for India and has put the condition that “Criteria Based” entry should be granted to anyone who fulfill it.

Prime Minister Modi’s second strategic objective is to isolate Pakistan. In his recent visit to Iran in May for the trilateral agreement between India, Iran and Afghanistan on Chahbahar Port and Transit Route was signed. Here again it has two strategic objectives; one is to get raw minerals from Afghanistan to India and establish manufacturing center in India. Second objective is to decrease dependency of land locked Afghanistan on Pakistan by establishing Chahbahar Port and also to pressurize Pakistan to offer over land route to India for Afghanistan and Central Asia.
