Hillary Clinton is being targeted by the National Rifle Association as gun control groups continue to rally around the Democratic presidential front-runner.
“The Second Amendment is on the ballot this November,” the NRA’s top lobbyist Chris Cox said Friday.
Following some of the nation's top organizations throwing their support behind Clinton, like Michael Bloomberg's Everytown for Gun Safety, the NRA has taken a hardened stance against the former Secretary of State.
“Hillary Clinton does not believe that law-abiding Americans have the right to use a firearm to protect themselves in their homes,” Cox continued.
The criticism comes just a month after the NRA endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump.
