Ace filmmaker Karan Johar turned a year older on Wednesday and he celebrated his 44th birthday with his family and close friends in London.

Karan is in London to shoot his upcoming directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which starsAishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. While some of his friends were already in London, some flew down especially for his big day.

Shah Rukh was in the British capital to attend the graduation ceremony of his son Aryan Khanand he attended KJo's party along with his sons Aryan and AbRam.

Ranbir is shooting for ADHM and it wasn't really surprising to see him at the bash. His cousinKareena Kapoor Khan and her husband Saif Ali Khan are presently holidaying in London and they too joined the party.

Also present was Johar's protégé Sidharth Malhotra and Shweta Nanda with her daughter Navya Naveli.
