Adorable footage of a mother hedgehog crawling through the grass with her young babies, a rare sight during the day.

The video, filmed in Mosneni in Romania on Sunday, shows the cute critter suckling her young, which are still completely pink with white spikes.

The filmer later wrote online: "Lucky day for my nephew - he just found in the grass a beautiful hedgehog with her babies.

"Pretty rare to see this - amazing nature."
