Akshay Kumar had a fallout with producer Firoz Nadiadwala after Phir Hera Pheri, as a result of which Akshay wasn't included in the cast of the third edition of the hit franchise, however it seems that the duo has finally buried the hatchet.

Reportedly, Firoz, who is riding high on the success of Welcome Back, has extended the olive branch by approaching Akshay for the sequel of his 2002 release Awara Paagal Deewana, which featured the latter in the lead role and buzz has it that Akshay too is keen to do the film. We hear that Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever will also play pivotal roles in the sequel.

The original was directed by Vikram Bhatt, however the second edition will be helmed by a different director.
