PM Modi meets Afghan President in Tehran

Tehran (Iran), May 23 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in Tehran, Iran, on Monday. Ghani arrived in Tehran for signing of the trilateral agreement on Chabahar port between India, Iran and Afghanistan. India will contribute in building the terminals and cargo berths at Chabahar port by investing USD 200 million in the first phase. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day state visit to Iran, had crucial meetings with the leaders of the host country and witnessed signing of various agreements having economic and strategic importance.
