In the western part of the island with a funny name Kangaroo is one of the most interesting places in Australia - Flinders Chase National Park. It is a huge treasury overflowing with endangered species of animals, plants, relict and unique geological formations. Park is located in 213 km south-west of South Australia's capital, Adelaide, and 110 km from Kingscote, the island's largest city.

The most popular attractions of the National Park are considered anomalous geological formation, called Remarkable rocks (Remarkable Rocks) and Arch Admiral (Admiral's Arch).
Remarkable Rocks - one of Australia's most recognizable objects Kangaroo Island - is a unique creation of nature. They were formed under the erosive effect of wind, rain and sea spray, which worked on the granite boulders for 500 million years.
