Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo opened to mixed response however, the film has set the cash registers ringing at the box-office and has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood.

The film released on Thursday and in just two days it has collected Rs. 71.38 crore. Salman’s magic, Rajshri’s track record and the festive season worked in the film’s favour and helped it reach the blockbuster status. PRDP collected Rs. 40.35 crore on Thursday and Rs. 31.03 crore on Friday.

The film will most certainly cross the hundred crore mark today and now, it remains to be seen if it will be able to break Salman Khan’s biggest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s record.
