The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released video of a rare dandelion siphonophore captured during a dive by the Okeanos Explorer team around the Northern Mariana Islands.

Scientists with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, captured footage of an unusual and stunning sight during a recent dive. 
The agency revealed on its Okeanos Explorer site that the expedition team had “a rare encounter with a swimming dandelion siphonophore.” 
The accompanying video shows the entity with translucent, tube-like structures and an overall bright orange glow.
