After garnering much curiosity about which actress would be paired opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in upcoming YRF film ‘Sultan’, the makers have finally confirmed that Anushka Sharma has been roped in opposite the Dabangg dude.

The actress, who had made her Bollywood debut with ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, herself took to Twitter to upload a snap, in which she is seen with her arms around Salman’s shoulders. Interestingly, Anushka has worked with Aamir Khan in PK and with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, but this is the first time that she will romance Salman.

In an official statement, YRF stated, “The most eagerly awaited announcement of 2016 is here! Anushka Sharma will star opposite Salman Khan in Yash Raj Films’ SULTAN.”

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Sultan’ revolves around a wrestler from Haryana, who enters a mixed martial arts tournament.
