Daily Mail_Russia's skies display thousands of starlings forming a series of shapes May16
Thousands of starlings put on a spectacular aerial display in the skies above a Russian city. The acrobatic mass of birds fly in unison in the air in Simferopol, Crimea.
According to ornithologists, the synchronized movement helps the birds find food & create a defence mechanism against birds of prey - which usually try to hunt individual birds & rarely attack big flocks.
