As the speculations about the release of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ being pushed to January 2017 are doing the rounds, the film’s co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani was visibly upset with the constant queries about it by the media. Sidhwani was recently spotted at the wrap-up party of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and he remained tight-lipped about the release of the film.

When asked if the release date has been changed to avoid clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ on Eid, he retorted, “How do you know this…did Shah Rukh Khan tell you this?”

Buzz is that the makers of the film want to make sure that the film gets a release date that doesn’t clash with any other big films. With Diwali and Christmas dates booked for Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, respectively, the makers may have to opt for a none-festive release for their film.

We all know that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ clashed with another heavyweight, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ in December and the former suffered at the box office. Now, whether team ‘Raees’ uses Baniye Ka Dimaag or Miyaanbhai Ki Daring in choosing the release date remains to be seen!
