New Delhi, May 01 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said they are taking the Uttarakhand forest fire matter seriously. He added that from today they have started trial run of pre-fire alert. Elaborating it further, he added that this pre-fire alert is directed connected to satellites, which will alert when the forest catches fire. Javadekar said they have already granted Rs 5 crore as the expenditure and 6,000 people have been deployed for firefighting operations.
