Ronda Rousey left a promise unfulfilled when she lost her UFC women’s bantamweight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193. That promise is the driving force for Rousey to regain that title which is currently in the hands of Miesha Tate. An emotional Rousey told “Time” that at the open workouts for UFC 193 a woman who, terminally ill with cancer, pleaded with Rousey to win the fight approached her. Rousey promised the woman that she would win.
