Assam, Apr 28 (ANI): The flood-like situation in Assam remained grim as three districts, including Dibrugarh, Sivasagar and Charaideo, have submerged under water, affecting around 168 villages. The Brahmaputra river and many of its tributaries have breached their banks after downpours, washing away thousands of homes mostly made of bamboo and straw. 27 relief centres have been opened up by the administration in the affected districts so far.
