Surat, Apr 28 (ANI): With temperatures rising above 40° C, authorities at Surat Zoo have started taking measures to provide relief to the animals. Continuous sprinkling of water and water ponds have been developed by the staff to fight the intense heat waves. The zoo authorities are doing everything to keep the animals hydrated. Water in the bathtubs of tigers, lions, leopards, monkeys, Indian bears, and others is replaced daily and their cages are sprinkled with water during the afternoons.
