Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert is set to be sentenced Wednesday in a hush money case that revealed he was being accused of sexually abusing young boys as a teacher in Illinois Hastert pleaded guilty last fall to structuring bank transactions to avoid requirements on reporting where the money was going upon investigation, federal officials determined he was paying hush money to an alleged victim of sexual abuse.
