Jaipur, Apr 27 (ANI): Over 40,000 tent service providers in Rajasthan have joined hands saying no to child marriages. The tent dealers will now demand birth certificates of the groom and the bride and if any of them happens to be a minor, a complaint will be lodged against the family. Despite being prohibited by the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, the malpractice is carried out in various parts of the country. Children as young as four and five years old are married off with complete rituals and traditions till today.
