New Delhi, Apr 26 (ANI): With all mobile handsets in the country to have a provision for a panic button from 2017, Union Minister of Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi on Tuesday said they have been working on this project from past two years. She further said the credit for this should be given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She added that she is happy about it as it will be a game changer for the society. The button would enable users to intimate about emergency situations. The measure, aimed at women safety, will also see a provision for installation of a GPS navigation system from January 1, 2018, to track the location of the person in crisis with accuracy.
