U.S. Embassy worker, LGBT editor brutally hacked to death in Bangladesh

Two men, including a U.S. Embassy worker and LGBT magazine editor, were brutally hacked to death in the Bangladesh capital of Dhaka Monday evening.
TheU.S. Embassy identified the editor as Xulhaz Mannan, an editor of Roopbaan, a Dhaka-based LGBT magazine.
The other man was Tanay Mojumdar.Mannan and Mojumdar were in a flat in Dhaka when five or six young men posing as couriers arrived at the former's building and then entered the second-story apartment and hacked both men to death with machetes.The murders come a day after Bangladeshi police detained a university student in the hackingdeath of 58-year-old Rezaul Karim Siddique, an English teacher at Rajshahi University.
