Nepal, Apr 24 (ANI): As Nepal marks the first anniversary of its devastating earthquake, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Sunday paid tributes to the victims in a ceremony at the ruins of the historic Dharahara tower in Kathmandu. The event is part of national commemorations, which also include a candle-lit vigil and three days of national mourning. Nearly 9,000 people died and 22,309 others were injured in the two earthquakes that struck Nepal last year. The Nepal Government figures show that about five lakh families were left homeless by the massive quakes.
