Social media was abuzz with sharp and hard-hitting comments over Shaktiman's death. From politicians to Twitterati, everyone expressed their sorrow on micro-blogging site and the recent one to join the league was star cricketer Virat Kohli. Mourning over the sad incident, Kohli tweeted: "Rest In Peace, you innocent soul #Shaktiman. We, humans, failed you." Shaktiman was a well-trained horse and part of Uttarakhand Mounted Police for years.
