Volkswagen agrees to compensate US consumers over emissions scandal

Frankfurt, Germany, Apr 21 (EFE).- German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen has reached an agreement with US authorities to compensate every consumer with a manipulated vehicle 4,400 euros ($5,000), according to local media reports.
