Latur (Maharashtra), Apr 15 (ANI): At time people are forced to travel miles to fetch a bucket of water in drought-hit Latur, thousands of litres of "precious" water was on Friday used to prepare a temporary helipad for the visit of Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse.
A Latur resident said thousands of litres water was wasted just to settle sand for the minister's helipad. The resident said the water was for the consumption of draught-hit areas and not for any minister.
