Firozpur, Apr 15 (ANI): The security forces seized 30 kilograms of heroin and detained two men on Thursday in a combing operation in Punjab’s Firozpur city. The paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) recovered the drugs from a farmer’s residence. Giving out details of the operation, BSF Inspector General Rajesh Kataria confirmed that two men had been detained, but dismissed reports of recovery of cash in the operation. According to officials, those arrested have been involved in trafficking of narcotics since a long time. They would be handed over to the police for further investigation.
