Nepal, Apr 13 (ANI): About 1,000 trucks from India carrying essential goods, including fuel, food and medicines, crossed over to Nepal from Raxaul-Birgunj border. The supply was badly affected because of months-long agitation and blockade by Madhesi community in Nepal. Nepal faced acute crisis of fuel and other essential commodities because of blockade at Indo-Nepal border by Madhesi agitators. Madhesis launched protests against the government demanding equal rights and representation in parliament after the new Constitution was adopted. Since their demands have not been met, Madhesi leaders and other minority groups are threatening to re-launch agitation across Nepal.
