Plan A was to put a harness on the giant dog and have a family friend coax the animal down.
When that didn’t work, the team moved on to plan B – slowly dropping the Great Dane to solid ground.
A leash was fixed to the harness, and, while people held a tarp beneath the dog to break the fall, a worker began the controlled descent.
