Udta Punjab is an upcoming Indian drama thriller film written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Phantom Films, it features Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh,Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Principal photography of the film commenced in March 2015.The film worldwide releasing on 17 June 2016
