KOLLAM (KERALA), Apr 10 (ANI): At least 83 people killed and more than 200 reported injured in a massive fire that broke out in Puttingal temple in Kollam early Sunday morning. Confirming the report to ANI, Kollam Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) K. Laljy said the injured were rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The fire that broke out around 3.30 am. was caused due to a blast in the firework stockpile, readied for the temple celebrations. The death toll is expected to climb as it is yet to be ascertained whether anyone remains missing. Kerala Health Minister VS Sivakumar said that all possible support was being given to the injured people.
