TOKYO — Virtual reality me-time just got jacked up a notch with the release of a futuristic-looking VR sex bodysuit.
The invention by Japanese sex toy makers Tenga retails for around $400 and promises to add a tactile dimension to the brave new world of solo fun, according to a report by VR website Inside Reality.
The suit, named the Illusion VR, combines physical stimulation with virtual reality visuals. It is designed to work with a game called Sexy Beach on the Oculus Rift VR headset.
The user can play with some weird fake breasts, while an appendage to the device rummages around in their nether regions. Meanwhile, to create the sensation of an actual human rubbing against you, sensors and straps inside the suit send electrical impulses to the body.
Apologies if all this has got you excited about finding a new path to personal pleasure, or if you thought this could be the answer to the sexual frustrations of unrequited love.
Because despite its hefty price tag, the Illusion VR has already sold out, and it's unknown when it will be available to buy again.
