Jaipur, Apr 06 (ANI): Death toll in the spurious liquor consumption case in Jaipur rose to nine as several more people were admitted in local hospitals on Wednesday. The case came to light when three personnel of India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) complained of respiratory and visual problems on Monday. Two of them died during treatment while the third lost vision at a hospital in Barmer district.Interior Minister of Rajasthan, Gulab Chand Kataria, said seven civilians had also died due to similar symptoms and the death toll was likely to increase. The civilians are all from various villages of Barmer. According to the police, 14 people are currently under treatment. Six suspects have also been arrested in the case.
