While other cleaners may send your rug out to be cleaned, we clean your rug on site, at our plant. This means we have the time and resources at our fingertips to give your rug the highest degree of attention. Each rug is carefully hand cleaned often multiple times. We employ many methods depending on the type of rug you have and what issues we are addressing.

Our In-Plant Process Consist of The Following Steps:
1. We begin with a thorough inspection. This inspection notates: size, type, colors, odors, soil conditions, overall condition of construction of rug, condition of the fibers, fringe, edges and face of rug. All of these issues and conditions are notated. Then we can start our cleaning process.
2. Next, area rugs are thoroughly rug dusted. This step is essential. Our customers are amazed at the amount of sand and grit that comes out of their rugs. Even rugs are vacuumed weekly capture a large amount of dry soil. Removing sand and dirt is so important because this grit, when walked upon, acts as an abrasive and cuts and shreds the rug fibers. Eventually the fibers break and create visible traffic paths. This damage is irreversible.
3. Problem areas are worked on. Any spots caused by urine, food, oil etc are worked on next. Different spots and spills are treated with different solutions. We employ the sun, shade, heat and many other natural elements to remedy the problem. If the rug has an odor it will get treated to our luxurious “rug pool”. The rug is immersed and soaked in water. Then the water is extracted and your rug gets a thorough shampoo and a cleansing rinse.
4. Then we clean your area rug. Over the years we have found that there is no “one size fits all” method when it comes to cleaning rugs. We decide what type of cleaning method to use depending on the type of rug, the problem it has and the type of soil. We can employ many methods. One method uses a “Rotor or Shampooer”. The shampooer is a large soft bristled brush attached to a circular rotating machine. It scrubs, loosens and breaks down the dirt and oils, which are then suspended in the solution, making them easy to remove. We can also use hot water extraction cleaning. This is basically a warm, soapy water wash with a clean water rinse. In some instances, dry cleaning is appropriate as well. Whichever method we use, at this point, the spots have been worked on, the fibers have been shampooed and the dirt and oils have been loosened and suspended. The fibers are now rinsed to flush out all of the impurities in the rug.
5. The next step is cleaning the fringe. The fringing is brushed, untangled and straightened out, then shampooed and given a final grooming.
