Driveclub PS4 gameplay. This is the second race in my experiment to see just how good the racing in Driveclub against the AI can be.

To make things interesting I elected to drive the RUF RGT 8, a car which I had literally just unlocked and that promised to be a tricky beast if other versions of the car in other games were anything to go by. I also chose a track that I had yet to drive - Los Pelambres in Chile.

The result was an awesome 8 laps with extremely close quarters racing on a pretty tight and demanding little course. Having got caught up with an Alfa and a BMW and squabbling over 2nd spot for the last third of the race, by the time I put them behind me I ran out of time trying to chase down the leader so it was a satisfying second place at the chequered flag. I've started the video with the trackside cameras replay, but this is followed by my racing view from the cockpit cam which puts a completely different face on things.

The RUF is immense fun to drive and looks and sounds great - even in lurid lime green. It's not the easiest car to drive in the game due to its "lively" nature but it is quick and sounds excellent too. Just keep your inputs smooth and the car will reward you :-)
