Gran Turismo 6 - The Sierra Time Rally, takes place over the 27km lakeside course in Spain and drivers are required to beat time checks along the entire length of the course in order to complete the full lap.

In addition you will need to overtake a succession of other vehicles, cleanly if possible, and each overtake will earn you more time and will accumulate to form "combos" which will multiply the points earned for the driving time. If you collide with another vehicle or leave the track however, any accumulated combo scoring multipliers are lost.

The awards are based on the total points scored for the run based on your overall time, the number of overtakes made, various speed and jump bonuses, and offers additional points for a "clean" lap.

This run, although far from the best you will see, was enough to secure the gold, for which the driver is rewarded with the car used - in this case the little Abarth 500 Fiat. Additionally, upon completing a full lap of the course, it becomes available as a track for use in all areas of the game. The Sierra Time Rally contains four levels, each one requiring players to drive a different car for one lap around the circuit and trying for the highest points score possible.
