Jorhat, Apr 02 (ANI): As the dates for polls get close in Assam's Jorhat district, political parties are trying to reach out people from all walks of life, including villagers and tribals. However, Deuri and Mishing tribals of Deuri villages are still demanding basic facilities. Meanwhile, there are few tribal women who have amassed an empire themselves. They earn for the family by weaving business making traditional Assamese clothes. Manjula Deuri is one of these tribal women and she said she would vote for development. The men said they would not be voting this time if their demands aren't met. Deuri and Mishing tribals face the issue of unemployment and this is going to be a serious issue during this election.
